okay..here’s a little outburst by muah.
ladies, encourage men to be a Godly MAN. when you see true manly qualities…tell them.
okay, so you see a guy who is intentionally doing something that is very Jesus like, humble, pure, etc. Tell Him you noticed and that you are proud of Him. If you are not in a serious relationship, this is more importantly true. You need to practice so that when you are with a significant other, it is second nature for you to encourage. Don’t take them for granted!
Ladies, do you ever get tired of your special guy telling you that he really likes the way your eyes look or how he likes it when you fix your hair curly?! No! Then, why do we stop telling Godly men that we appreciate and respect them. When you start genuinely noticing, they start doing more. Boom. He wants to do it again, and we have started a revolution.
With the feminist movement, (girls, sometimes i could kill you for this), we have killed chivalry. The depressing thing is that it was not because of what they’ve done, but us women!
Start shaking things up. Be confident in your gentle and quiet spirit. Don’t be fake. But do cultivate those sweet qualities. The men will appreciate them.
And side-note, sometimes I had inhibitions about this because I thought maybe the guy might think that I am coming on to him or something……but here’s the thing: if you do it in a simple genuine way, it’ll show.
And men, please be men. Men like David, Paul, and hello, Jesus! BE STRONG! BE BOLD FOR THE GOSPEL AND FOR YOUR WOMEN! BE CONSIDERATE! YEAH! Please don’t get discouraged when we don’t notice. Please…
We have Goliaths in our lives, and sometimes we ladies just need a David to come along. No, he doesn’t need big muscles or fit in world sized armor, but he DOES need to allow God to use him in a mighty way to defeat the Goliaths in our and others lives.
And women, quit looking at your nails and look around. It helps :D
